Let God Be Glorified (LG25)

             'Last Generation'

2 Thess 2:9-10 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
The Antichrist can only deceive all those unbelieving who do not receive the love of His truth. But to the believing, no matter what happens, they will always thank the Father God for His love and care in bringing them to holiness and maturity through rewards, chastisement, testing and sufferings. It is crucial to recognize that blessing, sickness, accident, pain, suffering and poverty are all from God and they are for their good. Godly, knowledgeable and matured Christians will joyfully praise, thank and worship Him even when in pains, sufferings, hunger, persecutions and also when facing martyrdoms, thereby always glorifying His Holy Name.
Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

How God is Glorified?

1. With good works
Rom 2:6-11 "will render to each one according to his deeds": eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For there is no partiality with God.

2. Light shine before men
Mat 5:16  "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven."

3. Reproach for His Name
1 Pet 4:14  If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

4. Counted worthy
2Thess 1:11-12  Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power, that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

5. Suffered with Christ
Luke 24:25-26  Then He said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?"
Rom 8:16-17  The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

Can we let 2021 be the glorious and fruitful year? let's continue in doing good and righteous works so that men will see the light and love of Jesus in us and glorify the Father in heaven by becoming Christians.
